This edition includes the source code for the complete product. The product contains 2 parts: The .NET Component Written in C# it contains all high level (what you see in the documentation) functionality This is a VS Project and you can adapt it to your special needs. (No need for the TomTom SDK) The Helper Written in native C++ it makes the SDK calls available for the .NET Component Since it wraps all available SDK functions there is normally no need to change the helper. If you need to change it in special cases you need the TomTom SDK to link against it. If you don't own the SDK we provide a compilation service. Why should you think about buying the Source Code Edition? We did our best to fit most of our customers needs. But maybe you have special needs which we don't cover. Or you build multiple products and want to enhance the component with common functionality needed by your products. Last not least you want to be independent. Especially larger companies want to secure their investment owning the whole thing. Due to administrative reasons we will provide the Source Code Edition only for a limited time!
* You will need the TomTom SDK 6.031 to link the helper (normally not needed since this is nothing more than a straight parameter passing) ** If you don't own the SDK and need to compile the helper we can do this for you (2 free compilations included extra compilations will cost 100 Euro) This depends only for the helper (function mapping to the SDK). The .NET component needs no SDK to be changed!
